Fresh Water Tanks Distribution

Cause

One of our critical emergency relief projects is distributing fresh water tanks to displaced families in Gaza who are struggling to access clean drinking water. The recent conflict has severely damaged Gaza’s water infrastructure and the majority of the filtration plants, leaving only one functioning water line to serve the entire strip. As water in Gaza is highly salinated, this has made it immensely challenging for people, especially those in crowded displacement camps, to obtain the fresh water they need to survive. To help alleviate this hard situation, we are providing water tanks that are 4000-5000L. One tank can provide water for about 200-250 families per day. These tanks are being distributed in areas facing the greatest need, such as the Remal and Sheikh Radwan Street neighborhoods. Each tank costs about £160. The project is implemented on a daily basis due to the urgent need for it.

The project is 100% donations policy, and all recipients are Zakah-eligible.

Please donate generously, keeping in mind that giving water is one of the greatest forms of Sadaqa as the Prophet (PBUH) said in the Hadith.

May Allah SWT save you from the gnawing thirst on the day of Judgement as you quench the thirst of our brothers and sisters in Palestine.
