Assalamu Alaikum dear brothers and sisters,
💖 Alhamdulillah, Seven Spikes Relief has successfully secured a large 3-storey building with a basement — historically known as The White Hart Pub / Mojo Bar — located at 159 High Road, South Woodford (E18 2PA).
🌙 Insha’Allah, this historic building will soon undergo a beautiful transformation — from a former pub into a place of faith, service, and unity, a vibrant Community Centre welcoming Muslims and non-Muslims across Northeast London and beyond.
This project will establish a much-needed hub of faith, learning, and essential community services — a source of continuous sadaqah jariyah for everyone involved.

✨ A place of faith and spiritual fulfilment, open to everyone seeking connection, reflection, and purpose.
🎓 A centre of learning, offering educational workshops on transferable life skills and addressing key issues affecting our community.
📘 Free or subsidised tuition in both religious and national curriculum subjects, helping children and young people thrive academically, morally, and spiritually.
🌟 Inspiring programmes and events featuring respected speakers, scholars, and influencers who uplift, educate, and motivate.
👨👩👧 A family-friendly environment that strengthens parent–child relationships and promotes strong family and community values.
🏕️ Subsidised indoor and outdoor social, cultural, and sports activities — such as camping, BBQs, Scouts, and tournaments — fostering friendship, teamwork, and wellbeing.
🤝 Collaboration between Muslims and non-Muslims, promoting mutual understanding, respect, and shared community action through inclusive initiatives and dialogue.
🥘 Integrated community support services — including a food bank, community kitchen, hardship relief, wellbeing guidance, and counselling — ensuring that no one is left behind and compassion is put into practice.
💖 A welcoming space where everyone — especially our children — feels valued, inspired, and connected..
🕌 Our Initial Work Plans Include:
• Applying for planning permission to change the building’s use.
• Completing all necessary remedial and construction works to restore the property, which is currently in poor condition.
• Creating open-plan prayer and community spaces, with wudu’ and educational facilities.
• Establishing dedicated ladies’ areas and facilities for youth and children.
• Installing insulation, carpets, and simple internal finishes.
• Later, developing the basement into a community activity area, insha’Allah.
