Caring for Orphans, Widows and The Needy!

Street Kitchen to The Displaced Families

Cause

In the midst of the ongoing war and repeated closures of crossings, Seven Spikes is committed to providing regular feeding programmes to the hungry stomachs in Gaza. Alhamdulillah our teams in Gaza are working hard to prepare the daily tikkiyas (street kitchens) and distribute the food to the displaced families. Currently, our team obtains the food items from the local suppliers in Gaza and cooks several pots of stock food to serve the crowded areas of Sheikh Radwan and the neighboring streets. One pot of stock food can provide food for roughly 100 people per day, and this pot costs about £200 nowadays. The food is distributed in the form of hot meals or just giving to beneficiaries in their own pots. By setting up these kitchens in strategic locations, we can reach the most vulnerable populations trying our best to ensure no one goes hungry.

Our dedicated team of volunteers works very hard to prepare and distribute the food, offering not only physical nourishment but also a sense of hope and compassion to those who have lost so much. With your support, we can continue to expand this vital programme, establishing more street kitchens and reaching even more families in need.

The project is 100% donations policy, and all recipients are Zakah-eligible. So please support this project generously and help our brothers and sisters fight hunger.
