Alhamdulillah! We are thrilled to share blessed news!

Seven Spikes Relief has successfully exchanged contracts to purchase a large 3-storey building with a basement — historically known as The White Hart Pub / Mojo Bar — located at 159 High Road, South Woodford (E18).

Insha’Allah, on 24th November 2025, this place will begin its transformation — from a pub into a House of Allah and Community Centre, serving Muslims and the wider community across Northeast London and beyond.

This project will establish a much-needed hub of faith, learning, and essential community services — a source of continuous sadaqah jariyah for everyone involved.

Our Vision
Not just to create a prayer space — but to build a vibrant community hub where everyone feels valued, connected, and inspired to contribute — a place of worship, learning, and service for all.

Our Initial Work Plans Include:

Applying for planning permission to change the building’s use.
Completing all necessary remedial and construction works to restore the property, which is currently in poor condition.
Creating open-plan prayer and community spaces, with wudu’ and educational facilities.
Establishing dedicated ladies’ areas and facilities for youth and children.
Installing insulation, carpets, sound system, and simple internal finishes.
Later, developing the basement into a community activity area, insha’Allah.

Estimated Phase 1 Cost: £1.7 million
