WHAT AND WHY: Seven Spikes Relief is pleased to offer our Muslim community members of all ages (especially families) a chance to get together in a beautiful local campsite where they get to know one another more closely and enjoy our delicious BBQ and halal entertainment with various activities. The campsite is just under 2 miles away from Fairlop and Newbury Park Tube Stations.
WHERE: Hargreaves Scout Camp Site, Hainault Rd, Romford, RM6 5SR
WHEN: On Saturday 5th of April 2025 from 11 am to 7 pm.
ARRANGEMENTS: Seven Spikes Relief has booked the whole site in addition to a centrally-heated self-contained lodge to be used for cooking and indoor gatherings. This is a one-day event, so participants are not requested to bring any tents or sleeping bags. Just bring your personal items that you may need and extra clothes for your kids in case their clothes get dirty from playing or participating in activities.
TRANSPORT: Each family is expected to arrange their own transport. The campsite is easily accessible by car, taxi and underground.
ORGANIZER: The event is organized and supervised by Seven Spikes Relief, which is a registered charity serving the Muslim Community in various parts of the world and it is subsidized by the Charity.
FEES: £ 14.99 per head. The subsidized fees go towards covering the per-head cost of the campsite, the Lodge hire, the food and drinks as well as activities. Fees are for any person aged 4 years or more by the time of the event. Kids under 4 (born on or after 05/04/2021) go free. The cost is subsidized by Seven Spikes Relief as a service to the Muslim Community so any donations/ extra contributions towards the actual cost are welcome and appreciated.
ACTIVITIES
Activities include: Bouncy Castle, Air Rifles, Archery, Table Tennis, Football, Basket Ball, Henna, face painting, Darts, Tug of War as well as Religious and Cultural Quizzes and Competitions.
BOOKING
Please fill the form below and mention any other important details that we should know. Please double check to make sure you enter your name and contact details correctly as these will be used to communicate with you regarding the event. You will receive an email confirmation which will be your receipt for the event. Please bring this receipt with you to the event. At least one week before the event, you will be added to a WhatsApp group where you will receive further instructions and get your queries answered ISA.
