HELP TRANSFORM A PUB INTO A COMMUNITY HUB

Community Centre

Assalamu Alaikum dear brothers and sisters,

By the grace of Allah, Seven Spikes Relief has acquired a large building, formerly known as The White Hart Pub / Mojo Bar, located at: 159-161 High Road, South Woodford, E18 2PA

Subject to obtaining the necessary consents, our long-term vision is to transform this historic building into an inclusive Community Centre, open to people of all backgrounds, faiths, and beliefs, serving North-East London and surrounding areas.

Until formal planning permission is granted by the local council, all activities at the site will remain strictly within the uses permitted under the current Class E designation.

OUR VISION (Subject to Planning Approval)

  • A shared community space for faith, reflection, learning, dialogue, health and wellbeing.
  • Educational programmes and transferable skills workshops for children, young people, and adults.
  • Affordable or free tutoring to support academic development and life skills.
  • Talks, events, and workshops featuring speakers from diverse backgrounds.
  • Family-friendly activities that strengthen relationships and community bonds.
  • Subsidised social, cultural, and sports activities promoting health and inclusion.
  • Inter-community collaboration encouraging understanding and positive engagement.
  • Community support initiatives such as food assistance, wellbeing guidance, and practical help for those facing hardship.

Our aim is to create a welcoming, safe, and positive environment where everyone — especially children and young people — feels respected, supported, and inspired.
